Boystown is a multi-faceted provider of welfare services throughout Australia. Their operations spread from immediate care for those in need through to support and employment services for youth, families, unemployed and the disadvantaged.

Smoke Creative was approached by Boystown to develop a range of communication tools for Boystown and Kids Help Line that change perceptions of the organisation, support its national rebrand, and appealed to individuals and business groups for support to meet the ever growing needs of the organisation.

All concept development, scripting and pre and post production was handled in-house. The production of a range of video presentations that could be used across a broad range of channels focused on the key areas identified through extensive consultation with Boystown and its subsidiaries. Smoke interviewed an array of staff from the Chief Executive Officer through to counselors on the 'front-line'. We also spoke with several members of the community who had been assisted by Boystown over the years. This research provided us with the foundations to produce targeted, effective messaging.
